One of the great pleasures of my business is that I get to do a wider variety of projects. On this particular project my client, Julian, was six years old and he had arranged with his Mom to have a tree house built. On our first meeting my client had done some drawings of what he wanted and was very proud to show them to me. We talked about the ideas so I would be clear with his wishes and then went out to check possible sites. This family’s house was built in the 1950s. They have raised their three kids in their old and beautiful home; however, they wanted to host family gatherings with all their kids and grandchildren! But the old space did not handle all the family very well.
My clients, as part of their upgrading program for their suite, wanted to make the kitchen space more useful with a more open feel. This kitchen had not been changed since the 1950s, so we had the opportunity to bring many new and contemporary ideas to the project.
